Engineered aeration diffuser systems used in activated sludge aeration tanks to deliver air for oxygen transfer and maintain biomass in suspension. Sulzer’s ABS FlexAir™ diffuser family provides fine-bubble aeration with high oxygen transfer efficiency and low energy consumption. Systems are designed for municipal and industrial biological wastewater treatment and can be combined with submersible mixers to improve tank mixing and process stability.
